Steve has been teaching since 1992, when he started his career as a teacher of students with special needs at a science and technology magnet school in Montclair, NJ. While teaching there, he opened a technology training and gaming center with a focus on after school programs and summer computer camps. At the same time, he began teaching technology courses. Steve has taught video game design and development through after school programs, gifted and talented programs, and 7th and 8th grade cycle and elective courses. Through the years, Steve’s passion about forming and nurturing relationships among edtech stakeholders including educators, developers, students and researchers, has helped to guide product development for various EdTech companies. Steve is also the co-founder of the Twitter chat #EdTechBridge.
