We are looking for our first Partner to join the ProjectEd team and make a profound impact on the education sector! As our first Partner, you will apply your leadership and product development experience to create meaningful client relationships that deliver exceptional experiences for educators and students. You will employ a consultative sales approach to build a portfolio of innovative consulting projects that improve learner outcomes. You will support specific projects, and you will continue to grow your own consulting and subject matter expertise. You will also support the operation and development of product service delivery to sustain ProjectEd’s success, and will ultimately build, manage, and coach an internal team to high levels of performance.
Our ideal Partner is a recognized leader in the education industry and is excited to commit their education product expertise to help ProjectEd create exceptional services and products to benefit student success. Top candidates are mission-driven and are committed to improving student experiences and learner outcomes. You bring demonstrated consultative sales success in the public and private sectors, including EdTech companies, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and foundations. A clear ability to build and sustain strong client relationships is a must. You also have the ability to lead and manage internal teams to high quality measurable results for our clients. You must be able to operate nimbly in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position is based in New York and reports directly to our CEO. Remote candidates will be considered.
As project lead, you thrive when wearing many hats: project manager, producer, team cheerleader, and the client’s main point of contact. The teams you lead will be variable: some will focus on strategy, some design, and others development (and some a mix of all of those). Internally, you’ll manage the project from a people and product perspective. Externally, you’ll work with our clients to ensure our team becomes an extension of their own.
The lead is the center of the wheel that keeps a project driving. You are the face of a project to clients, serving as the point of contact through its duration and — just as important — the source of trust. Internally, you are the go-to for all things, flagging risks to the executive team, reporting on project status, and singing team praises like the great coach you are.
