ProjectEd’s 2018 New Year Resolutions

As we finish off 2017 and prepare for next year, ProjectEd is partaking in the all important ritual of putting together our new year resolutions. The New Year allows us a moment of reflecting on the past and dreaming about the future.

Our team’s personal resolutions are as varied as the team itself. From running races to becoming a pianist, adopting a new pet to learning Portuguese — this will clearly be another year of personal growth milestones!

As an organization, our shared goals feel more urgent than ever:

Moving education forward.

Education can be the great equalizer. It can open doors and level playing fields. We are immensely proud of the work we have had the honor to work on with our clients ranging from the youngest of children to adults learning new skills. While it is easy to get disheartened by how far we still have to go, the amazing people we see doing new and innovative work keeps us feeling hopeful and excited to do more.

Build meaningful communities.

It feels like now more than ever people need to feel like part of a community, belong to something bigger than themselves, and apply their skills to causes that are important to them. Thoughtful, productive and supportive communities both off and online will help provide individuals and organizations great opportunities to make an impact.

Create innovative tools rather than flashy technology.

New ideas in technology are rapidly evolving, and users can hardly keep up with all the choices offered in the landscape. Not only do we want to embrace innovative ideas, we also want to turn those ideas into useful tools that stand out from the clutter and chaos.

What are some goals you would like to see played out in 2018?

Warm wishes to our friends and partners. Cheers to continued success in 2018!
